He left the luxury of eternity.
He chose to live among you and me.

He opened the eyes of those who could not see.
He fed those who were hungry.

He loved those who were unlovely.
He called those who were more motely.

He preferred the sick over the healthy.
He favored the poor over the wealthy.

He danced with vitality.
He brought the wine to the party.

He died to take our iniquity.
He rose to give us victory.

He was given all authority.
He is the head; we are his body.

He was divinity walking in our humanity.
He came so that you and I could be
